Bedroom Toys.
I know i know my room is messy. This is a few of my toys, and "yes" this is what i do when i wake up. Sony Vaio Laptop, (2) Pioneer CDJ-800 mk2's, Pioneer DJM-600, Tracktor Scratch Pro, (2) Crown XTi 2000's, (2) JBL MRX 515's, and a JBL MRX 528. I need to sell 1 of the XTi 2000 amps and buy a XTi 4000 for the highs, since they are underpowered, but i keep the limiting safe with my DBX Driverack PA+. I also have a NI Traktor Kontrol X1 controller, but it isn't hooked up at the moment.

Towering 8 Foot Tall Towers Update 14 - In the Paint Booth (Primer / Bedliner)
Update #14 in a series of video's showing this project from concept to finish. I know it has been a while since i had an update but i made them too tall originally. They somehow ended up about 8' 2" which is too tall for my house and the 8' ceilings. I didnt want to remove the wheels and i was sort of bummed out about it. I also had wiring, sanding, sanding, and more sanding to do. It was hard to get back in the mood, i admit it lol! Also, because i was being sidetracked by the "hoopty" (see candy blue caddy on youtube) i just had more of a reason to put it on the back burner. Well, now for the past few weeks, i have been modding the wheel situation (went with smaller wheels) and as a result, they are now a whopping 7 feet 11 3/4" tall. I have been sanding my hands off getting prepped..... and now they are out for paint! I am hoping to have them by the weekend! See the previous 13 video's to understand how this all came to be! the system consists of: 2 crown xti 4000's (bass) and 2 crown 2000w amps..... The Towers EACH will have (8) 7" Ascendant Audio Carbon mids, (4) Morel Tweeters and 1 Ascendant Audio SMD 18" woofer. There is 2 18" Passive radiators in each tower to reinforce the LOW LOWS! Everything is all Actively crossed over, no passives at all. I use a DBX drive-rack for that..... Extreme Shop System :SMD Pro Audio Project Vid 2 - Crown Amps 10400 Watts
started my project the other day when i got the mids. I ordered the tweets and the subwoofers are on their way as well. While i wait, i decided to get my power in order. I got a few things in the mail i thought you guys might like to see. I am building this for my shop as well as whatever else might come along that i can do with it. Most of all i love hooking stuff up and pro audio, rack mounted amps and eq's are fun! 2 Towers - (1) DBX Rackdrive (crossover) (1) Crown Ce2000 - (8 ) Tweeters (undecided but eyeballin' Morel DMS 30) (4 per tower) (1) Crown Ce2000 - (16) AA Carbon Midrange/midbass (8 per tower in a line array from bottom to the top) .....and PORTED (1) Crown XTi 4000 - (1) SMD 18 faced forward (Ported, possibly down firing) (1) Crown XTi 4000 - (1) SMD 18 faced forward (Ported, possibly down firing) (1) Mackie 1604 VLZ Mixing board (supposed to be rack mountable with a few factory mods) (1) undecided Rack mounted EQ and an electrician to give me a few outlets with more juice.....probably 3 30a circuits this is for FUN, and its for my shop. I have a few people that want to come and do a live u-stream show and with this mixer i should be able to put out CLEAN sound directly into the computer (line-in) so its no distortion!! Plus, at the shop its gettin CRAZY loud........but also SUPER CLEAN. Anyway, I will also drag it to my house sometimes as well......of course i will need bigger circuits put in there too. I am still a pro-audio noob but this shit is ...

Do you like BASS? POWERFUL SHOP SYSTEM - ALL SYSTEMS GO!
ALL SYSTEMS GO! I finally got this thing the power it deserves. I had a friend come over and tap into the breaker box for me and bust me out 4 dedicated 20a circuits. He put them on 2, 75', 4/10 cords. Now i am not only able to play this system as loud as i want, but i can also move around the shop! Im not stuck in one corner, FTW!!! Special thanks to my friend Tim who hooked it up PROPER..
